Want to add some colour and texture to your room in an easy and inexpensive way? Make a throw blanket! If you use a certain type of fabric, you don’t even need to know how to sew – simply cut, style and you’re done.
I find the best fabrics to use for these no-sew throw blankets are ones that don’t fray. My favourite is minky fabric (it’s SO soft!), but you could also use a knit jersey or a fleece. Go to your fabric store and look at the cut edges of the fabrics on the bolts. You’ll know right away whether or not the fabric will fray when it’s cut.
