Hot Drinks for Fall
Let’s start with the obvious, shall we? I love a good hot drink when the temperature starts to drop, and I’m going to assume you do too! Most of these drinks call for a shot of espresso or at least a strong brewed coffee. If you like to make your coffee the old-fashioned way by bringing your stovetop blend to a boil over medium heat in a small saucepan or percolator, all the more power to you! I personally find it easiest to use my Keurig or other automated system. However you get there, these recipes are designed for your favourite brew plus delicious extras! Read on (and get your mini marshmallows ready) to find your favourite!

Easy Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe with Homemade Simple Syrup
My beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte is easily one of my favourite fall coffee recipes, hands down! Why go out and spend your hard-earned cash on one of these drinks when you can make an even better one from the comfort of your own home? In this post, I’ll guide you through an easy and delicious Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe that uses a homemade simple syrup all spiced up for fall with simple, wholesome ingredients.
This recipe is perfect for those who don’t have the time for complicated recipes but still want to enjoy a delicious pumpkin pie spice latte at home. The secret is using pumpkin puree and a homemade pumpkin spice mix mixture (ground cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice & cloves). These flavours all come together for a budget-friendly drink you’ll love!

DIY Vanilla Maple Latte
There’s nothing quite like a steaming hot latte on a crisp fall morning, am I right? I LOVE my coffees in the morning, and I especially love lattes. Recently, I discovered a way to make a delicious, festive tasting latte with all-natural ingredients (pure maple syrup, vanilla, and milk), and it’s so good! All you need to make this DIY Vanilla Maple Latte is a Keurig, a microwave, and a handheld battery-powered milk whisk. This drink tastes just as good as one you’d find at a coffee shop and it’s a lot less expensive!

Gingerbread Flavoured Coffee Syrup
If you haven’t noticed yet, I’m a big fan of using flavoured syrups to make homemade concoctions so much easier. This Gingerbread Syrup might be a little bit Christmas-y, but I promise that on a chilly, rainy September morning it will feel just right! A dash of cinnamon is never wrong on a dreary day, after all.
You can add this easy-to-make prepared syrup to your black coffee and then top it off with some whipped cream and graham cracker bits. You can also add it to your milk before steaming it for a latte. All you need is gingerbread spice mix that you could probably make right now with the ingredients in your pantry, and a few extra minutes to sit in a chair and sip your new drink and relax. What could be better?

Praline Latte – Starbucks-Inspired Recipe
When I saw this recipe from The Happier Homemaker, I was hooked! This Praline Latte is a tasty fall treat you can easily make at home. It’s a delicious recipe that takes just a few minutes to pull together. I think your taste buds will thank you for trying this over your regular latte tomorrow morning! Here’s what you need:
- Brewed strong coffee
- Unsalted butter
- Light brown sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Milk
- Whipped cream and crushed pecans for topping if desired

Honey Cinnamon Latte
Champagne Tastes has a beautiful recipe for a Honey Cinnamon Latte inspired by specialty drinks at small coffee shops. Start with homemade honey simple syrup in the bottom of your coffee mug and add espresso. Then top it off with a warm milk froth. (Any of your favourite non-dairy options work just as well as dairy, but remember that options like almond milk will have a stronger flavour.) If you choose, dust the top with some ground cinnamon and sit back and enjoy!

Toasted Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte
Everyone knows that fall is pumpkin spice season, and Joss at In the Kitch is no exception! Her Toasted Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte takes the classic pumpkin spice latte and then dresses it up with a dollop of marshmallow fluff. The toasted fluff mingles with the hot espresso and pumpkin spice to create a creamy autumn beverage. Even better, it only takes five minutes to brew!

Just Like Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Latte Copycat Recipe
The Starbucks Copycat Cinnamon Dolce Latte by xoxoBella is one of the best drinks for fall! With earthy cinnamon, tasty espresso, vanilla, and whipped cream, this is the perfect Starbucks copycat latte. The homemade cinnamon dolce syrup is easy to make, and if you make a bit extra you can save it for future drinks! You will need two kinds of sugar along with some cinnamon, salt, vanilla, and water.
Everything about this recipe is wonderful, from the sweet cinnamon notes to the way the cold milk adds creaminess and another layer of flavour. Try it out and I’m sure you’ll agree!

Caramel Brulee Latte (Starbucks Copycat Recipe)
This Caramel Brulee Latte by Homemade Heather is a delicious copycat of the original Starbucks drink. The main ingredients in this latte recipe are espresso, milk (heavy cream if you’re really living it up), caramel sauce and a teaspoon or tablespoon of toffee bits. (Add sea salt if sweet and salty is your thing. Not a fan of caramel? Pour chocolate syrup over it instead and see if that does it for you!) You can find everything you need at the grocery store at a fraction of the cost of your daily drive-thru experience! And if you don’t have an espresso maker, that’s okay! Simply use Starbucks dark roast to make a rich, strong brewed coffee instead. This easy to make, delicious drink is perfect for a lazy Sunday morning or even for Christmas brunch!

Copper Autumn Coffee Station
You guys know I LOVE my coffee. And I know that there are lots of you that love it too! So, I thought you might like to see this little coffee station I created to sit right where I need it most – by my bed! This fall coffee station in tones of copper and weathered wood makes our bedroom feel even more autumnal and I love having the option of an instant morning coffee (or a late night tea)!
To create this simple coffee station, I used my small Keurig machine that I spray painted in copper rose that we use for camping in the summer. This machine plus my vintage copper & moscow mule mugs set the tone for this warm display! I used a pretty tiered wooden stand to hold some K-cups, faux foliage, and a couple of faux pumpkins to style it nicely. I love how it turned out, and it makes my room feel warm and cozy too.
