60% main color (walls/furniture)
30% secondary color (rugs/drapes)
10% accent color (pillows/art)

The 3-Layer Lighting System

To make any room feel cozier, use three light sources:

Overhead light
Task lighting (like a reading lamp)
Ambient light (like a candle or sconce)
